Could we be seeing Infinity Blade 3 soon? Since Chair announced the cancellation of Infinity Blade Dungeons recent rumors point towards a possible third game being released in the future. As noted on MacRumors and gaming site Kotaku, a LinkedIn profile of a QA Tester at chair has Infinity Blade III listed as one of his projects that he is working on.
The Infinity Blade series run off of the powerful Unreal Engine 3, with extremely high quality graphics and responsiveness both Infinity Blade and Infinity Blade 2 are one of the most popular games in the App Store to date.
MacRumors notes that when Chair co-founder Donald Mustard confirmed the closure of Infinity Blade Dungeons, he mentioned that there were additional games in development. “There’s more we at Chair are totally planning to do in the Infinity Blade universe,” he said. “More games, more books, maybe even other products. And we are very excited about that.”
Infinity Blade 3 now takes the lime-light from Infinity Blade Dungeons, as hopeful gamers await news and updates on this potential new development. However after the updates (although awesome) from Infinity Blade 1 to Infinity Blade Dungeons 2, we don’t think Infinity Blade 3 will bring any significant change in role to the game play. A lot of players are crying out for an open world game, will Infinity Blade 3 offer this? We’ll have to wait and see.
